M. Melvin (“Mel”) Shralow is a graduate of Philadelphia’s Central High School (199th Class) with degrees in engineering with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania and law from Harvard. With more than forty-five years of experience in all phases of business, corporate and civil practice as counsel, law professor and government official, Mel has extensive experience in arbitration as counsel and arbitrator and is a trained and experienced mediator. 
 
He now offers his services as a full time mediator and arbitrator, in all phases of controversies and disputes, including those relating to contracts, construction, intracorporate disputes, professional practices, professional malpractice, insolvencies, securities, religious congregational problems, and other civil problems.
 
A respected member of the Philadelphia legal community and of the American Law Institue, Mel Shralow brings a unique breadth of experience as a transactional lawyer, civil litigator and trained practioner in alternate dispute resolution to help individuals and organizations resolve their disputes in a more timely, cost effective and satisfying manner than in court proceedings.
